"In some ways, infertility grief is similar to the sorrow that comes when someone you love dies. That which you are missing seemingly becomes magnified when you see those who have what you've lost or what you want and don't have. While this increased awareness seems like envy, in reality it has to do with loss: Loss of expectations..." Melanie Dillon
Feeling ready to bring another life into this world can be a very exhilarating experience. For some, the road to parenthood is smooth and easy. For many others, however, the road is long, complicated, and difficult. The emotions involved can be all consuming. Feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness, and isolation can be common complaints among women who are struggling to conceive. Sometimes, the roller coaster of emotions, uncomfortable fertility treatments, and months of anticipation are met with disappointment and grief.
I will support you through your journey and provide a safe space for you to express, process and explore your feelings and experience.
